Born for service
How did your story with B&B HOTELS begin?
I started my own management company nearly 10 years ago, including the running of several hotels. When I found out that B&B HOTELS was looking to launch in the US in 2024, I jumped at the opportunity to join a great brand that was already well established in Europe – and make it work over here. Shaking hands on the first hotel was one of the happiest days of my life. Since then, B&B HOTELS has provided all the support, talent and people a small company like mine needs to succeed.
What does a European brand like B&B HOTELS bring to the US market?
It might sound surprising, but I’d say customer service and a strong focus on quality. Although the US is often considered customer centric, this isn’t always the case especially since Covid. B&B HOTELS ensures customers get what they deserve every time, so that they feel like they are at home. We are genuinely interested in their stories and ask questions about their day, looking to reset their expectations. So, they leave feeling happy and asking for a business card.
What’s next for you and B&B HOTELS in Orlando and beyond?
I’m proud to have opened one of the first B&B HOTELS properties in the US. Orlando is a great place to get started with so many tourist attractions and different kinds of guest. But, for me, the model could work anywhere in the country. This is just the beginning. I’m looking forward to opening more hotels and continue doing what I love: serve customers and seize opportunities to make them happy.
