High potential, high standards
What led each of you to change paths and join B&B HOTELS?
Jérémy Camus: At first, it was out of love! We set ourselves this project – and challenge – together. Personally, I wanted to try something different and be my own boss.
Léah Haudiquet: My parents, who themselves are hotel managers, suggested I join the adventure. At first, I worked as a substitute manager all over France. I liked the brand’s high standards, which made me want to start out on my own with Jérémy.
Morlaix was one of the brand’s first properties. What does that represent for you?
J.C: We’re proud that our hotel figures among the brand’s flagship locations. We’re determined to unlock its full potential.
L.H: Only five months after taking over, we were ranked second for client satisfaction. So, we’re heading in the right direction.
What have your previous experiences brought to your role as mandate managers?
J.C: Although the clientele was different in the boating industry, where I used to work, customer interaction is a common thread linking the two industries. In the past, I had very approachable managers and we wanted to create that kind of proximity in our own hotel.
L.H: I started my career in fashion retail where I had a lot of responsibility. I set high standards for myself and others. Today, I combine my joyful personality with that drive to do things well, every day.
What’s next in your adventure with B&B HOTELS?
L.H & J.C: Our goal is to manage another hotel, maybe in the south of France. And hopefully more after that!
