Growing together for 35 years
You are the longest serving employee at B&B HOTELS. What major turning points did you experience from the inside?
I can think of several key moments that have shaped the group’s history. In 2003, the original CEO sold the company, which was taken over by Georges Sampeur. In 2011, opening the Paris office was also a milestone. At each of these moments, I seized the opportunity to take on a new role. The year 2020 was unique because of COVID. It was a time of uncertainty, but I’ll always remember the solidarity and resilience everyone demonstrated.
In your opinion, what has never changed at B&B HOTELS?
I’d say our focus on guests. Even in support roles like mine, this is and always will be at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to offering the best service at the best price hasn’t wavered either. After all these years, I’m very attached to the group. Few people have the chance to grow with a company from day one and see it become an international player with nearly 900 hotels.
What message would you like to share with the new generation joining the group?
Be curious, get involved and keep moving forward. You have the chance to help build the B&B HOTELS of tomorrow. It’s a great adventure and I’m proud to have been part of it from the very beginning.
