An unstoppable vision
“With 80 hotels in Italy and the title of ‘best midscale hotel chain’, I couldn’t be prouder. Things are on move in Hungary and Slovenia too. Our momentum seems ‘unstoppable’, which was appropriately the motto of the first B&B HOTELS conference I attended. Hoteliers, team members and franchisees came together believing in our brand. I’ll never forget all energy and emotion that made us feel anything was possible.
Coming from a retail and entertainment background, hospitality was a natural extension of understanding customers and meeting their needs. In hotels, this connection is even stronger. We welcome guests in our ‘home’ where they sleep and are at their most vulnerable. This requires trust that we strive to earn by creating value and delighting customers – to become a ‘love brand’. This goes for employees too. I’m convinced that you need to involve and value teams, whether through our B&B Academy, as Wellbeing Ambassadors or via the Excellence Committee we created to share ideas and best practices.
Working with people from different cultures is a privilege. Italian creativity and exuberance complement a more rational, structured approach in Hungary and Slovenia. Together, we find shared paths. These differences also enrich the guest experience. Each hotel is unique through the design, choice of colours and e-concierge recommendations. Customers get insights into the local culture, while benefiting from the strengths of global brand with a clear vision and powerful story.”
